The most successful quarter so far: Air Serbia carried over 800,000 passengers
In the first quarter of 2026, Air Serbia set a new standard for its business with 813,188 transported passengers and a 3% growth compared to the same period in 2025. This is also the first time that the number of 800,000 carried passengers was surpassed in the January - March period. During the first three months of 2026, 10,032 flights were operated, which is 5% more than in the same period last year.
“The results achieved in the first quarter confirm efficient network and capacity management, as well as growing passenger confidence in Air Serbia’s services. This success at the beginning of the year gains additional significance when considering the current challenges in the global aviation industry - from the complexity of supply chains to operational pressures at major European hubs, thereby confirming Air Serbia’s resilience and operational stability. The trust our passengers place in us motivates us to continue optimizing our destination network and to enter the summer season with fully prepared capacities, with continuous adaptation to current market conditions” said Jiří Marek, CEO of Air Serbia.
The most popular Air Serbia destinations from January to March were Podgorica, Tivat, and Ljubljana in the region, while in Western Europe the most sought-after flights were to Paris, Zurich, Milan, London, Barcelona, Vienna, Frankfurt, Rome, and Amsterdam. In the broader Euro-Mediterranean zone, passengers most frequently travelled to Athens, Istanbul, and Larnaca.
