Three new Air Serbia destinations
During the upcoming summer season, Air Serbia will introduce direct flights between Belgrade and the popular islands of Sardinia and Mykonos, while after a break of more than a year and a half, it will also resume service to the Italian city of Florence. Air Serbia will operate flights twice a week to Mykonos (JMK) and the city of Alghero (AHO) in Sardinia, using Airbus A319 and Embraer E195 aircraft, while flights to Florence (FLR) will be operated by the ATR 72-600 from Air Serbia's regional fleet. Tickets are already available.
"Air Serbia previously operated flights to Sardinia and Mykonos in cooperation with partner travel agencies. These were charter flights, and now conditions have been created for us to implement scheduled flights to these two popular destinations during the summer season. This way, passengers will have the opportunity to independently plan their stay on two of the most popular islands in Italy and Greece and to reach them more easily and quickly. Additionally, we are reintroducing direct flights to Florence, which will become our tenth destination in Italy. We are confident that all three destinations will attract the attention of passengers and that we will have a high cabin load factor on these flights during the summer season," said Boško Rupić, General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia.
A service between Belgrade and the city of Alghero in Sardinia will be commenced on 10June 2025 and will operate every Tuesday and Friday throughout the entire summer season. Alghero is one of the liveliest cities on this Italian island. You will fall in love with the picturesque old town, the traditional port, and the spacious beaches of the former Catalan enclave. Don’t be surprised that the older residents of the city still speak the Catalan dialect of Algherese and that, in addition to the flags of Sardinia, Italy, and the European Union, the Catalan flag also flies above the town hall. This culture is felt throughout the city, so it is no surprise that the locals affectionately call it "Barceloneta" or "little Barcelona". Alghero is also known for its corals and lobster fishing, which were the backbone of the city's industry. You can still find coral in many jewellers' shops, where it is used to create jewellery.

Starting on 6 June 2025, every Monday and Friday, passengers will have the opportunity to fly between Belgrade and Mykonos. Often referred to as the "Island of Winds," Mykonos is located in the heart of the Cyclades group. Although extremely cosmopolitan, the island is also traditional. In the same place, luxurious hotels and cobblestone streets with whitewashed houses, village chapels, and numerous windmills intertwine. The island bathes in sunlight during the day and at night it opens the doors to numerous bars and clubs where unforgettable memories are made.

In addition to the previously announced destinations, Air Serbia has revealed plans to introduce direct flights between Belgrade and Ibiza. However, due to challenges in securing the necessary airport slots for Ibiza, ticket sales for this route are temporarily on hold. The airline is working to obtain suitable slots that will ensure optimal connectivity between Belgrade and Ibiza, and other destinations within the Air Serbia network. Once the required slots are confirmed, ticket sales for this new route will commence.
You can find more information about the activities of the Serbian national airline on the Air Serbia Media Centre webpage.
