Your Window to the Most Beautiful Sunset: SANTORINI IN THE AIR SERBIA NETWORK
30 April 2026
Air Serbia has today, with inaugural flight JU558/9, officially established a direct air route between Belgrade and Santorini. During the summer season, Air Serbia will fly to this prestigious destination twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays, providing passengers with an ideal opportunity for an extended weekend or a complete summer vacation in the Cyclades.
Air Serbia's first flight was ceremoniously welcomed at Santorini Airport by H.E. Nikola Nedeljković, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Greece.
“By introducing direct flights to Santorini, we are not only further enriching our network but directly responding to the strong desire of our passengers to explore the most beautiful Greek islands. Santorini possesses strong international recognition. With a total of eight destinations in Greece – Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Corfu, Chania, Heraklion, Mykonos, and now Santorini – Air Serbia confirms its role as a leader in connecting the region with the most beautiful coasts of the Mediterranean,” said Bojan Aranđelović, Head of Network Planning and Scheduling, Air Serbia.
Santorini, the national carrier’s new destination as of April 30, is not just an island, but a symbol of Greek tourism. Known for its picturesque white houses, turquoise sea, and the most beautiful sunsets in the world, this volcanic island attracts millions of visitors every year.
